January 2026 MeetingItem Link
January Meeting - January 22nd:
We’ll be kicking off the new year with our January meeting. We have some new and exciting ideas for the coming year and want you to be part of the fun and exciting adventures. We’ll be talking about our plans and hope you’ll be there to give your input and help support the club.
After the meeting, we have a special activity planned. I don’t want to give away the surprise but you might want to study up on the characteristics of common and interesting rocks. (There will be prizes!)

January 21st: I know I said we’d do enameling but we’re going to wait till later for that.
This week we’ll make a very cute Valentine’s Day gift for a friend or yourself. If you have jewelry tools please bring them. Also, if you have a few red beads bring them, though I have a big selection so there will be plenty.
We’ll be talking about taking an idea to a finished product. We’ll be filing and using rivets to create the heart. Please notify me if you will be attending.

December Meeting - December 18th 6pm at Tehachapi Senior CenterItem Link
This is our last meeting of the year and we are celebrating the year with sweet treats. Bring a favorite sweet and a plastic container. Everyone gets a few bites of a huge variety of treats.
Also, we’ll be making snow globes! Ron purchased DIY snow globes. Look around for things to put in your snow globe - think really cool rock or geode, small figurines, etc. Be sure to thoroughly wash your rock so dirt doesn’t cloud your globe. We have some Santas and little red truck figurines as well as the snow particles. There are 2 sizes of globes: 4” with 2 3/4” opening and 3” with 1 3/4” opening. If you need your rock cut or polished, the shop will be open Monday 12/15.
A donation of $5 for each snow globe would help offset the cost of supplies.
See you there!

Halloween is creeping up on us!! Last year we did a wire spider - this year we’re doing a skeleton!
We’ll be reviewing how to make wire loops: a simple loop and a wrapped loop. Both these will be used to make our handsome skeleton.
Bring your tools if you have them. You’ll have a choice of silver or copper colored wire. The skeleton can be used as a necklace, rearview mirror decoration, tiny window decor, etc.
Class: Wednesday 10/22/25 2pm to 4pm.
Remember to text your intention of attending. I make kits of the wire pieces we will be using and need to make sure I have enough.
Hope to see you there!

Get ready for a fun class this week! We’re going to make beaded keychains.
These beaded keychains are super fun to make! We’ll be using a large focal bead (either stone or polymer clay) and accenting with small beads and metal components.
We won’t need our jewelry tools but your close-working glasses are a necessity. 😁 Scissors would be appreciated. Bring a tumbled, drilled stone if you’d like but I have lots.
Class: Wednesday October 8th at 2-4pm
