March 18th Jewelry ClassItem Link
As you may have heard we’re having a TVGMS Open House April 11th. Among the many fun activities and displays we will have a pet rock painting table! To create some examples, practice, and make sure we have the correct supplies we’ll be painting pet rocks for Wednesday’s class. Look up “pet rock ideas” on Pinterest and print them out (if possible) so we can use the photos for inspiration at the Open House.
You may want to bring a towel/rag to work on, perhaps some paintbrushes, and a couple felt tip Sharpies. If you have a few tennis ball size (but flatter) rocks feel free to bring them. We’ll be using acrylic paints which come in a marker style, which should be easy and convenient to use.
Most importantly - bring your creativity and imagination!
See you Wednesday 2-4pm.

February Jewelry Class Rescheduled for Wednesday, March 4th.Item Link
Hello TVGMS Members,
We are very sorry for any inconvenience but due to the Center being unavailable, we have had to reschedule our teaspoon class once again.
The Art Class originally scheduled for this Wednesday, February 25 has been rescheduled again for Wednesday, March 4.
We will still be making the same project. We'll take on a little bigger challenge; we're going to make a copper teaspoon with a twisted handle. We’ll be using a dapping block and punches to shape the cup, annealing the copper wire to make the handle and making rivets to connect the cup and handle. The project will involve a bit of filing and hand sanding.
You will not need your jewelry tools for this project.
Wednesday March 4, at 2-4pm.
Please let me know if you are attending ASAP so I can prepare enough supplies.
See you there!
FYI, the next class following the March 4 class will be March 18. More information to follow.

This week we’re going to be working with UV resin again. We’ll be using small round pebbles to create a small bowl that can be used as a soap dish or ring bowl. It’s cute and rustic and will look great in your bathroom or kitchen.
No jewelry tools are necessary. If you have a UV light please bring it.
See you Wednesday at 2pm - 4pm.

January 2026 MeetingItem Link
January Meeting - January 22nd:
We’ll be kicking off the new year with our January meeting. We have some new and exciting ideas for the coming year and want you to be part of the fun and exciting adventures. We’ll be talking about our plans and hope you’ll be there to give your input and help support the club.
After the meeting, we have a special activity planned. I don’t want to give away the surprise but you might want to study up on the characteristics of common and interesting rocks. (There will be prizes!)

January 21st: I know I said we’d do enameling but we’re going to wait till later for that.
This week we’ll make a very cute Valentine’s Day gift for a friend or yourself. If you have jewelry tools please bring them. Also, if you have a few red beads bring them, though I have a big selection so there will be plenty.
We’ll be talking about taking an idea to a finished product. We’ll be filing and using rivets to create the heart. Please notify me if you will be attending.
