Celebrating Our Community: A Night of Gratitude at Cheers to Charity

On Friday evening, October 23, most of the TVGMS Board of Directors attended the grant distribution event held by Cheers to Charity. During the event, the Tehachapi Valley Gem and Mineral Society was honored to receive a $9,000 grant awarded to our Rock Shop and Workshop 501(c)(3) programs. This contribution will greatly enhance our ability to serve both our members and the broader community through our various outreach projects.

We commend the Cheers to Charity organization for their remarkable dedication to local nonprofits, a mission that has resulted in over half a million dollars of community support since 2014. We also wish to recognize our TVGMS members—specifically our ticket purchasers and the volunteers who assisted with setup and tear down—whose collective efforts directly contributed to the success of this funding.
